The best view of the city is said to be from the tower of Great St Mary’s church. Europe’s top aviation museum – the Imperial War Museum at Duxford – is accessible by bus. Its exhibits include 180 historic aircraft and there are flying displays in the summer. Thetford Forest Park is a working forest as well as ideal for relaxation and recreation.
