Stroll along the riverbank to the town, passing meadows, pits and lakes which are a haven for wildlife. Fishing is available from this site during the season (16 June to site closing date). Current Environment Agency rod licence is required before fishing can commence. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. Nearby Attractions The town of St Neots is less than two miles away. It has a good range of shops and restaurants, a museum and a market. Grafham Water is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. A cycle route goes round the lake and bikes are available for hire. It is also good for watersports and walking. Bourn and Gransden windmills are two of the post mills in the area. Gransden has been rebuilt and is thought to be the oldest of its type. Paxton Pits Nature Reserve hosts activities for children and adults throughout the year.
