If you fancy a stroll on a rainy day, a full set of splendid stately homes can be found situated near to the caravan site, all rich with local history. You will also have the opportunity to absorb the many local customs that are preserved to this day, such as the folk art of "Well Dressing" - an ancient form of flower arrangement that dates from Pagan times.
