The site is only a short walk to the Conkers attraction. The Visitor Experience at Conkers is on reclaimed land. Part of the site was once the central hub for British Coal, the other was Rawdon Colliery. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. Nearby Attractions Snibston Discovery Park is on the site of a former colliery. It tells the story of transport, mining and quarrying, engineering and the fashion industry in the area. The Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail is accessible to walkers and cyclists from the Club Site. Conkers – the award-winning attraction in the centre of the National Forest – includes nature discovery zones, a sculpture trail and an assault course for teenagers. Burton upon Trent is home to the White Shield Brewery, possibly Britain's oldest microbrewery.
