Herefordshire is a historic and ceremonial county in the West Midlands region of England. Hereford is a cathedral city and is the county town with a population of approximately 55,800 inhabitants it is also the largest settlement. The county is one of the most rural and sparsely populated in England.
Many well-known cider produces are based in Herefordshire. These include Weston's cider of Much Marcle, and Bulmer's cider, from Hereford, which produces the UK market leader Strongbow.
Herefordshire is in the heart of the county full of individual market towns, each with their own style and story to tell. Ledbury, Ross on Wye, Bromyard, Hay on Wye, Kington and Leominster, choose where to stay in any of the beautiful settings found throughout.
