Pixley End Caravan & Campsite

This year we are also introducing our ‘on-site recycling’ facility and ask that all our guests participate to help reduce the waste we send to landfill. If you are searching for the Trumpet Caravan & Camp Site you have found us! Pixley End is the new name of our site. The site offers general touring facilities for campers and caravans as well as seasonal pitches and facilities to hold rallies, certainly a site for all seasons. The site is open from March—October each year for touring vans and camping plus summer and winter seasonal pitches. Rallies taken from March—October. On arrival at the site please refer to the main notice board where you will find your name and allocated pitch number unless previously advised. Please ensure you do not turn in to the pub car park next door as you will have trouble turning round, the site entrance is 150 yards past the pub. There is no need to wait for us go straight to your pitch and set up and we will catch up with you. This year we have revised our fee structure to accommodate the change in camping and tents. Today some tents utilise as much space and facilities as a caravan or motor home. For the more traditional camper with a small tent we have introduced the ½ pitch rate where there will be two small tents on a standard large pitch. Showers, toilets, electric, stock Calor gas, campers wash up area and a seasonal shop (Bank Holidays) for milk newspapers and other supplies are all on site. More and more guests like to have barbecues, the only thing we ask is that you DO NOT put the barbecue directly on the grass as this will not only burn the grass but is a fire hazard. Tents and caravans must be kept to their pitches NO CORRALLING, we will keep small groups together so you will be next to your friends. This year we have introduced our site recycling centre and ask all our guest to actively use this to cut down on waste going to landfill. 

We are very fortunate to have some great fishing nearby most of which is only minutes from our site. Three counties fisheries have many pools in the county 3 of which are only minutes from the site; Pixley Pool, Lily Pool and Willow Pool. Also 5 minutes away is Pridewood Lake at Pridewood Farm check out their web page at Pridewood Lake. Plenty for the fisherman to do 6 pools only minutes from the site.
