Church House Caravan and Camping Site

A real gem of a campsite. It's in a lovely location next to the river and a fascinating wattle-and-daub church dating from 1400. The new owners, Paul and Lisa, are very friendly and welcoming. The showers and toilets are small but clean, and there are some thoughtful touches like the fridge-freezer you can put your own iceblocks into. It is one of the most restful and friendly campsites I've stayed at.

Friendly, peaceful and quiet campsite, rural location, next to river, coarse and fly fishing available on the site. One mile stretch of River. We have just come back from staying at the site and were mainly impressed by it's location and welcoming easy going atmosphere. The walks are good and the site is very dog friendly. Paul and Lisa have just taken over the site and are very nice and helpful. There is a pub around the corner that serves good food and is very smart with large outside sitting area. One word of caution though, the Sat Nav takes you down the wrong road, don't turn at the pub, take the next left if you are coming from Shrewsbury. We will definately be going back :-) Bev & Kev
