On the edge of one of the Midlands most popular beauty spots, it is great for walkers as well as those exploring further afield. Some pitches are sloping and chocks will be needed. Poor TV reception. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. The Chase is England’s smallest mainland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Visitor Centre and café are good places to start an exploration of this lovely area. Nearby Attractions The town of Cannock is five miles from the Club Site. It has a good shopping centre, a leisure centre and market place. Lichfield Cathedral is the only medieval cathedral with three spires. The city is also home to St Mary’s Heritage Centre, Samuel Johnson’s Birthplace, and the Staffordshire Regiment Museum. The bronze age hill fort at Castle Ring is a mile’s walk from Site.
