Description
Forestside Farm is set in 156 acres of beautiful, undulating Staffordshire countryside providing wonderful views of the Dove Valley and Weaver Hills, a very rural part of the County. This small, unpretentious site has five well spaced hard-standings with electric hookup, cdp and water, ladies and gents showers and toilets. Tents are also welcome, there is a kitchen area for campers use for washing up etc. including, fridge, microwave and kettle. Club rallies can be catered for by prior arrangement and well behaved dogs are welcome, but must be supervised at all times. Coarse fishing available. With acres of beautiful countryside right on your doorstep,there are plenty of local walks to enjoy both on the Farm and in the surrounding countryside. There are walks for the young and not so young in the Marchington and Woodlands area. Leaflets are available. The site offers the perfect base for a weekend break or longer holiday to explore the surrounding area. A little corner of paradise, ideal for those wanting to enjoy the countryside, with superb views to enjoy over a glass of wine. *********** Forestside is a working farm producing organic milk, cows are milked twice a day, viewing by arrangement. There is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy, Buzzards, Deer and Squirrels. ************** Nearby Uttoxeter has one of the best Racecourses around, Alton Towers is also in easy reach together with Lichfield, Sudbury Hall, Calke Abbey and Trentham Gardens and many more. ************ Village shop has fresh bread, groceries and newspapers. Butcher for locally produced meat. Country pubs and eating places to suit all tastes. Visitors guide available on site.

In easy reach of Lichfield and its beautiful Cathedral, Burton on Trent, Trentham Gardens and Alton Towers. Tutbury Castle, Sudbury Hall, Calke Abbey and Kedleston Hall all provide wonderful days out. Also visit the National Arboretum and National Forest. Country walks are plentiful in this area both on the farm and a little further a field. The Staffordshire Way runs close by towards the village of Abbotts Bromley, famous for its Horn Dance held every year in September. Plenty to see and do!
