Nearby Attractions The town of Leek has many interesting buildings and a new, pedestrianised shopping centre. Foxfield Railway runs steam trains through five-and-a-half miles of north Staffordshire – a superb way to enjoy the area’s most beautiful scenery. There are several museums, galleries and factories to explore in the Potteries, like Moorcroft in Stoke on Trent, which includes a factory tour. Speedwell Cavern is one of the Peak District’s amazing caves. Visitors can explore it by boat.
