Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is a national park in Scotland centred on Loch Lomond, and includes several ranges of hills, the Trossachs being the most famous. It was the first of the two national parks established by the Scottish Parliament in 2002.

Loch Lomond is a freshwater loch lying on the Highland Boundary Fault, often considered the boundary between the lowlands of Central Scotland and the Highlands. It is 24 miles long, and of all lochs and lakes in Great Britain, it is the largest by surface area.

The principal villages of Callander and Aberfoyle lie at the heart of the Trossachs, and Balloch, Tyndrum and the conservation village of Luss also lie within the National Park.

Loch Lomond is one of the most popular inland lochs for windsurfing in Scotland. The open landscape south of Ben Lomond allows the wind to blow more freely than in the mountainous northern parts of the loch.
