Grouse Hill Caravan Park

This campsite is very picturesque and facilities ok.Unfortunately half way through our break they decided to shut the toilet ,shower block without informing us. As you had to have a key this left us and 4 children very uncomfortable, and having a trek to use the toilet.When I went to reception to enquire why our key wasn't working, I was greeted by 2 women who I feel were very rude to me and not at all apologetic about there lack of communication and our dismay. It certainly did spoil what could have been a lovely holiday.

Review by: 16wheeler Unit used: Tent Yes i said as i finally saw the sign for Grouse Hill. As always was glad to be back and as always very well sign posted in advance for the turn off as well as right oppisite the turn off for the road. This is one site you wont hear ANY traffic noise on from any road something i dont think has been mentioned before. Arrived at the site office after driving through the security barrier and was greeted on first name terms even though this was only the second year of visiting grouse hill. what can i say but yet again this fantastic camp site was even better this year. Andrew had put into force quite a lot of the suggestions that some people made a point of complaining about which i feel were made because of last years rain which i dont think the owners had much control over last year. i think the rain made people a bit grumpy last year mainly first timers but if you camp your going to see ra
