The Pennine Way is another must - it still carries tracks made in previous centuries, so you can literally feel you are following in your ancestors footsteps. Also within easy reach from the caravan park, Hawes is one of the highest market towns in England at 850 feet above sea level and is blessed with an immense character that really needs to be experienced.
