Description
How Stean Gorge is a natural wonder! With 22 tent pitches and tents for hire, How Stean is a great place to meet up and spend time with family and friends. Our informal campsite is great for those who want to take a 'getaway from it all break' but there's also plenty happening for those wanting adventure. Outdoor activities happen daily but booking is essential. Choose from gorge walking, caving, canoeing, kayaking, abseiling and the via ferrata - high wire adventure course. There is also plenty of space in the camp site area for playing games on the grassy slopes and having fun. At night, the moon and stars are your only light so please bring a torch! It's the perfect base for camping and exploring the Yorkshire Dales. You can find breath-taking scenery, wonderful wildlife, historic castles, mining and mill heritage, fabulous food and shopping all a stones-throw from our camping site.
