We have just returned from a lovely weekend at this campsite. We took my 4 year old niece and the dog. Have not been camping for a few years and were also apprehensive about taking our niece. We found the site by accident and decided that it looked very well kept and in a picturesque spot, so we booked in. The staff were very helpful and friendly and obviously cared about the guest experience. The toilets and shower facilities were warm and dry and seemed to be cleaned regularly as always spotless. The showers and hairdryer were free so we didn't have to worry about saving coins etc. My niece loved the play area and in particular the trampoline, where she made some new firends and it was difficult to tear her away to visit all the beautiful sites in the vicinity - Muncaster Castle, Steam railway, Coniston and the Boot Inn. There is a well stocked shop on site which was handy for all the things we forgot - eg Suntan lotion and breakfast. Fantastic time-recommended.
