Really suprisingly good site with all the important basic facilities.Slightly sloping.Both hard and grass standings.Remarkably quiet considering it is so close to a busy road.Our visit (with caravan)included August Bank Holiday weekend and it was perfectly peaceful.Beautiful situation in the Eden Valley with views of the Pennines to the east and the Lake District peaks to the west.Clean, odour-free toilet block and shower(50 pence-not tried).Good TV and mobile phone signal. Tents and some statics in a separate section.Small children's play area.Friendly Highland cow in adjoining field.
