Ravenglass Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Set in six acres of mature woodland, it lies on the outskirts of the pretty fishing village which shares its name. Well stocked licensed shop on Site. Most pitches are hardstanding. Play area and ball game field opposite Site entrance. TV reception hook-up £1 per night available at reception. WiFi access available. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment.

The area is a walker’s paradise on Cumbria’s western coast. The seafront is 500 yards from the camp site – with opportunities for fishing. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway – La’al Ratty – is a narrow gauge railway running up to 16 trains a day. Muncaster Castle is a great family day out and includes the World Owl Centre and MeadowVole Maze. Wastwater, winner of ITV’s Britain’s Favourite View, is particularly peaceful. It can only be reached from the west.
