Riverside Tourer Park

Riverside is divided into two areas. The Caravan Club Certificated Location (CL), and the licensed Millrace Park which is available to Non-members as well as members. The site is bordered by the River Caldew and its tributary Beck (Gilcambon) which actually join on the site, and are completely open and accessible to site users. We have formed a river edge picnic area, and installed feeders for the now rare native "Red" Squirrels. For full information about the site, why not visit our website.

"Riverside" is situated on the outskirts of the Rural Hamlet of Millhouse, 1.5 miles from Hesket-New-Market, 3 miles from Caldbeck, mid point as the crow flies between Keswick and Carlisle, and central to Penrith, Cockermouth and Wigton, all within a 30 minute journey. The nearest Lakeland Fells, (Carrock, High Pike, Skiddaw and Saddleback) are only 5 minutes drive up the road, which are popular with walkers who prefer the quietness and discovering virtually un-trodden territory.
