Troutbeck Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Troutbeck near Keswick has everything that is good about the Lake District. A superb location in unbeatable walking country with fantastic views – it even has resident red squirrels. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. The facility block which has recently been refurbished, includes a hot drinks machine. TV reception not guaranteed, there are a few pitches with TV hook-up available.

Keswick and Penrith towns are both easily accessible from Site. Rookin House Farm Equestrian and Activity Centre offers many activities, including archery, amphibious driving and horseriding. Dalemain Historic House and Gardens, near Ullswater, combines medieval, Tudor and Georgian architecture with lovely gardens.Whinlatter Forest Park is England’s only true Mountain Forest. In the summer, there is a video link showing the Bassenthwaite ospreys at the Visitor Centre.
