Nearby Attractions Clitheroe town is a mile-and-a-half away. A 12th century Norman keep overlooks the town and the museum holds the North West Sound Archive of 9,000 recordings made in the area. The Forest of Bowland offers a wide range of unspoilt landscapes to explore. The Ribble Valley Sculpture Trail exhibits the work of local artists. The village of Waddington is near the Site. It holds several “best village” awards.
