Chestnut Meadow Campsite

Chestnut Meadow is a family run site set amidst beautiful countryside in the heart of 1066 Country. The site has been completely re-furbished during 2009 and re-opens on 30th April 2010 with all new facilities. We now have a reception / shop, a cafe, an indoor games hall with snooker, pool and air hockey tables plus table football, and an outdoor childrens play area in the form of an activity trail. Our shower block has been completely re-furbished and also now has the luxury of heating. Wi-Fi access is available to all pitches. We have 75 pitches, suitable for tents, caravans and motor-homes. Some pitches are fully serviced (hard-standing, water, electric and drainage to your pitch), some are hard-standing with electric, and the others are grass with or without electric. The site has been re-furbished with the environment in mind, using many recycled products and we also have full recycling facilities on site.

A wealth of Historical Attractions, Battle Abbey, Bodiam & Herstmonceaux Castles. For the family, Drusillas Family Theme Park & Zoo, Knockhatch Adventure & Ski Park. Plus of course miles of foot & cycle paths including High Woods, 82 acres of ancient woodland a short walk from our site. Plus of course there's the sea, plenty of beaches to explore and the bustling seaside towns of eastbourne and Hastings are close by.
