Views across the Forest are superb, and the towns and beaches of the south coast are only 20 miles away from this lovely Club Site. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. Crowborough Leisure Centre is next to the Site. It offers discounts to campers who would like to use the swimming pool. Nearby Attractions A bus from outside the Site will take you to Tunbridge Wells, Brighton or Lewes. Bateman’s and Chartwell are two of 15 National Trust properties in the area, homes to to author and poet Rudyard Kipling and former Prime Minister Winston Churchill respectively. Bewl Water is the south east’s largest stretch of open water. It is home to a great variety of wildlife and offers opportunities for fly fishing, sailing and canoeing. Ashdown Forest is home to a Llama Park and the “Pooh Sticks” bridge which appears in AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh.
