Canterbury Camping and Caravanning Club Site

A great stopover when travelling to or from France, as well as perfect for an extended visit to explore Kent – the garden of England. The cathedral city itself is a bus ride away or less than half an hour on foot. Please note it is advisable to follow the Canterbury Ring Road to get to the site. Wi-Fi access is available. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. The city of Canterbury is just over a mile away. Buses run from outside the Site into the centre. Explore the city in style by horse-drawn carriage or river boat.

Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales is the basis of a visitor attraction at the heart of the city. Join a walking tour and discover the rest of the city with an official guide. Whitstable is home to The Favourite, the last of the Oyster Yawls that used to catch shellfish around the Kent coast. Kent’s unique woodland discovery park Wildwood is in ancient woodland that dates back to the Domesday Book. You can fish locally for carp, bream, roach, tench, rudd, perch, pike and trout.
