Pitch Types Available  Tents  Caravans  Motorhomes Description In the heart of the South Downs – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the pitches are surrounded by trees and, in the spring, there is a carpet of bluebells around the Site. Some pitches are sloping and chocks are required. Please note, because of the surrounding environment, only gas barbeques are allowed on this site – no charcoal. A fully functional disabled facilty for wheelchair users, including level access shower and equipment. Nearby Attractions Petworth town is a few miles to the north of the Site. It is known as the antiques centre of the south. The Cottage Museum is a typical estate worker’s dwelling from the beginning of the 20th century. Amberley Working Museum has more than 30 buildings housing working craftspeople and exhibitions. The National Trust property of Petworth House has a 30-acre woodland garden. The estate was landscaped by “Capability” Brown in the 18th century.
