Slindon Camping and Caravanning Club Site

An orchard in Slindon Park is part of 3,500 acres of land owned by the National Trust. It is a haven for wildlife and has beautiful views across the coastal plain of West Sussex. Only 20 caravans allowed on Site. This site has no toilet or showers so you will need suitable facilities in your unit. Restricted gateway needs careful approach when entering Site. Please note that this site has no toilet or showers, so you will need suitable facilities in your unit. Slindon Site is designed for those who prefer minimal facilities. Campers who would prefer a toilet or shower block should stay at Graffham or Chichester – a few miles along the south coast.

The village of Slindon is mainly owned by the National Trust. Denmans is one of several beautiful gardens in the area. The four-acre garden at Fontwell is based on a tamed wilderness. Parham Elizabethan House and formal gardens have a deer park. Arundel is four miles to the east. The city has an interesting Museum and Heritage Centre, a Wildfowl and Wetlands Nature Reserve. Around 50 historic buildings – from the 13th to 19th centuries – have been relocated to the 50-acre site at the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum.
