We have just spent the weekend ( 3-5 September 2010)camping at Eden valley. It was the best site we have stayed on so far, the facilities were wonderfull, clean, well lit, price was very good and the owners very friendly and helpfull. The site is well kept and has a wonderfull dog walking field. Hope to go again soon.

In reply to previous review. At Eden Valley Holiday Park mistakes can be made!! However we always clean the toilet blocks daily - in busy times we clean them several times a day. If for some reason the toilets are not clean I can guarantee that if a complaint is made we do our upmost to put it right. All the lights around the park are put on at dusk. The lights in the shower blocks are on a sensor! If anyone has any problems please contact us direct and we will always endeavour to put things right!

Good location. That's where the good news stops. Warden doesn't think toilet block needs cleaning - not cleaned in 5 days we were there -same mud streaks on floor and same dead flies each day. They also think it's good for you to shower in the dark! I met a woman having to do her laundry by torchlight. Many lights at night don't work. One redeeming feature - the tumble drier worked well. Would I recommend it to you? Only if I didn't like you!
