Rosewall Camping

Our thirteen acre southerly camping field has spectacular views over Weymouth Bay,the venue for the 2012 Olympic sailing events,and the rolling hills of the surrounding Dorset countryside. There are two modern toilet blocks both with showers,hairdryer points,shaver points and washing up facilities.The lower block also has disabled facilities and a laundry room.There is a further seperate laundry room next to the upper toilet block and shop, and a new play area for the under 14's. The camp shop operates seasonally and is well stocked with basic provisions as well as camping essentials including gas and freezer pack hire. There are two popular pubs within walking distance where you can have a quiet drink in the gardens or a three course meal. There is a bus service approx 1/2 mile from the park which will take you to Weymouth or Poole. Whether you are first timers or seasoned campers we are sure that you will find our park the perfect place to explore Dorset.

From picturesque towns, quaint villages, historic buildings, wildlife, sealife, idyllic scenery, beaches and harbours. There are many places to explore in Dorset. Monkey World, Sea Life Centre, Abbotsbury's Swannery, Sub Tropical Gardens and childrens Farm, Corfe Castle, Swanage Steam Railway, Bovington Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door, Lulworth Castle Lyme Regis. For the more adventurous close by there is Zorbing, sea fishing from Weymouth, rock climbing or abseiling at Portland or a little further afield "Go Ape" at Moors Valley Country Park.
