Description
Lydford Caravan and Camping Park is set it a very quiet corner of Lydford Village on the very edge of Dartmoor National Park with outstanding views of some the highest "Tors". Great area for walking. Lydford has many outstanding features dating back to medieval times including a 9th century castle and church. National trust Lydford Gorge is the deepest gorge in southern England and a must see for visitors. Pubs and restaurants are within walking distance of the site. We offer level and slightly sloping pitches of both hardstanding and grass with electric hook up and a dedicated camping field for tents with the best views on site. We have fully centrally heated toilet/shower facilities, a dedicated parent and child washroom and facilities for dissabled all with ramped access. Also laundry with coin operated machines and a dishwashing area. The are plentiful water and drainage points throughout the site. Bookings essential at busy times.
