Sunnymead Farm Campsite

Small friendly site set in 4 acres the camping fields of approximately 2 acres are level with some shelter and have views over the fields to the sea at Lee Bay. We have a total mixutre of only 30 pitches and offer a few of these as seasonal pitches. Sunnymead Farm is ideally situated for visiting either the Victorian seaside resort of Ilfracombe (3 miles away), the surfing beaches of Woolacombe (3 miles), Saunton and Croyde or for using as a base to explore the rest of North Devon and Exmoor. For those interested in walking you will find the South West Costal path within easy reach. Cyclists will find nearby access to the Devon Coast to Coast National Cycle Network Route 27. We ask all campers to Recycle as much as they can on site to help the environment. In the corner of the 1st camping field there is a small childrens play area. We have 2 facilities buildings one built brand new in 2009 the 2nd is being fully refurbished for 2010. Pets are most welcome.

Sunnymead Farm is ideally situated as a base from which to reach numerous attractions, the Blue Flag beach of Woolacombe is 10 minutes away by Car or Bus or you can be in the Victorian seaside town of Ilfracombe in 10 minutes, home to the Tunnel beaches - accessed through tunnels in the rockface. We also have 3 other famous surfing beaches within an easy drive of the site. Alternatively you can visit Exmoor in under 30 minutes and take in the delights of the open moorland plus take a visit to Lynton & Lynmouth ("little switzerland" with its unique cliff railway. Other local theme attractions all within easy reach are Watermouth Castle, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Exmoor Wildlife Park, Lynton Railway, a little further afield you will find The Big Sheep and the The Milky Way both ideal attractions for good or bad weather.
