A Warm welcome awaits you at Lowtrow Cross. We pride ourselve in our friendly, personal service and the cleanliness of the site and facilities. Being an ADULTS ONLY site we do not accept children under 18yrs, this ensures you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, listens to the birds and breathe in the clean Somerset air. We aim to keep the site as natural as possible while still offering all the essential facilities to help make your stay a pleasurable one. Lowtrow Cross is also ideally situated as a base for touring this beautiful part of the country, with lovely views whichever way you choose to go. There is wonderful, uncrowded walking on Haddon Hill a heather-clad piece of moorland a that overlooks Wimbleball Lake, where fly fishing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, rowing and off road cycling are available. We have 2 well equipped statics for hire and well behaved dogs are welcome free. There is a traditional Inn adjacent to the site which sells good food and local ale

Just some of the local attraction include: Wimbleball Lake and Haddon Hill with it's herd of Exmoor ponies, Dunster with it's medieval castle, Tarr Steps, Knightshayes Court, Blue Anchor Bay and Minehead, Torre Cider Farm, Cleeve Abbey, The West Somerset Steam Railway, Hestercombe Gardens, Tiverton horse drawn canal trips and of course miles of wonderful walking, as well as fishing, windsurfing and sailing on the Lake.
