The Old Oaks Touring Park

This adults only park, offers excellent amenities in an outstanding environment. Set in blissfully tranquil Somerset countryside with beautiful panoramic views of the Mendip hills and surrounding area The Old Oaks is the perfect place to get away from it all. Spotless,centrally heated shower block, laundry, dishwashing,freezers for icepacks and microwave (all free of charge). Well stocked shop and off-licence with extensive range of goods, local produce and camping equipment. Indoor seating area with pool table, tourist information and book exchange. New for 2010 are our unique Camping Cabins – a great alternative to a tent or caravan. An ideal way for friends who ‘don’t do camping’ to holiday with those who do. Large dog exercise area including dog washing facility. We have a ½ acre course fishing pond, just a few 100 yards from most pitches and with parking for disabled customers within 20m. The park is surrounded by an extensive network of footpaths and cycle routes

Glastonbury itself has plenty to offer, from the Glastonbury Abbey (3m)and the famous Glastonbury Tor (3/4m), to the unique and unusual shopping experience in the town itself. The beautiful city of Wells with it's stunning Cathedral is only 6m away. Clarks Factory Shopping village at Street (5m), Westhay and Shapwick nature reserves (7m) Cheddar Gorge and caves (12 miles).
