This is a lovely, quite, family oriented site with plenty of room for tents and carvans alike. It is close the the church with an hourly clock bell, which is not at all obtrusive. The site is grassy and mostly flat. It gets busy at the usual times of the year, particulary around the time of the annual Great Dorset Steam fair, which is held only 8 miles up the road. They have a newly opened Cafe, soon to be licensed, which serves excellent breakfasts weekends and bank holidays. They also do Cream Teas in the latter part of the week and have started cooking Fish and Chips on a Friday night. All up, excellent value and a good site to base visits to the surrounding area.
