Glanllyn Lakeside Caravan and Camping Park

There are plenty of hook-up pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes some of which are hardstandings. There is a large launching area for watersports, hire of equipment available locally. Modern washroom facilities, dishwashing and laundry room, camp shop & a large children's playground. Close scenic views of nearby hills and mountains with plenty of local walks. The beautiful beaches of Fairbourne, Barmouth and Harlech are all within a 45 minute drive. The National whitewater centre of rafting and canoeing is only 5 miles away and Coed Y Brenin Forest Centre for mountain biking and nature trails is 20 miles away. The small market town of Bala with numerous small shops, restaurants, pubs, cinema and leisure centre is 3 miles away. There is a bicycle/footpath from our park to Bala.

One of Wales' little trains runs along the 4 mile length of narrow guage track alongside the lake. Bala Adventure and Watersports Centre in Bala offers all types of outdoor sports. Coed Y Brenin - one of UK's best mountain biking centre is only a 25 minutes drive away. Ewephoria Farm Park and Quad biking centre is 12 miles away. Tryweryn National Whitewater Centre for rafting and canoeing is 5 miles away.

Direct access from the park for sailing, windsurfing, canoeing & fishing on Bala Lake also fishing in the river that runs alongside the park.
